About Us

We are a community based not-for-profit centre which means we are here for our community, we put every cent back into the development and operating of the centre for our whanau and tamariki, and we are run by a Governance Committee whose members are from our parent body.

We operate from 7:30am till 5:30pm Monday to Friday and we only close on public holidays. Green Street has two centres which interact daily. House 11 is for infants, toddlers aged 0 - 2.5 years and House 13 is for our tamariki aged 2.5 - 5. We have excellent quality indoor and outdoor environments, resources and learning programmes.

At Green Street we are flexible to meet your individual requirements by providing both full time and part time early childhood education, we have no set session times and no minimum however we encourage bookings of at least 9 hours per week, as we feel this is best for children.
